AgRural reported that Brazilian farmers had harvested 16% of the 2025/26 soybean crop, slightly ahead of last year's 15%. Second-crop corn planting reached 22% and the first corn harvest hit 15%, and drought and heat concerns were noted in Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio Grande do Sul.
Harvest progress that is roughly on pace has little direct price effect, though the drought concerns in southern states are worth monitoring for yield risk.
