The U.S. Grains Council market perspectives report said Midwest corn conditions are relatively good ahead of pollination, with Hurricane Beryl remnants bringing 4 to 5 inches of rain to the eastern Corn Belt. Stocks-to-use models imply a 183 bpa corn yield, while a University of Illinois model projects 179.7 bpa, and USDA is expected to use 181 bpa in the July WASDE.
Good crop conditions and expected yields near trend point to adequate corn supply, which is bearish for feed corn and DDGS prices.
