U.S. natural gas futures rose to their highest level since January as LNG exports surged and forecasts called for continued heat through late August. Hurricane Isaias knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of homes before moving up the East Coast.
Refinitiv projected U.S. demand, including exports, would rise to 91.8 bcfd the following week.

After 221 past bullish weather events, Natural Gas moved a median +3.3% over 5 sessions (61% higher; middle half -5.2% to +14.0%), and -0.3% over 20.
