KONYA SEKER SANAYI VE TICARET A.S.: CUMRA ŞEKER ENTEGRE TESİSLERİ: Having a production capacity of 14.000 tons/day and being established on an area of 2.600.000 m² on a 5th degree agricultural land in the county of Cumra, Cumra Seker Integrated Facilities started to operate on September 24th 2004. Having been established in Turkey that is the heaven for sugar beet and in Cumra that is one of the places in which the most quality beet is produced in respect of the convenience of climate, all of the machinery and equipment of Cumra Seker feature the latest technology and automation system of Europe. Being the first facility to produce liquid sugar out of sugar beet in Turkey, Cumra Seker Integrated Facility has 340 million $ investment cost in total together with ists additional facilities producing other sugar products and Bio-ethanol Factory. Producing 221.000 tons cyristal sugar, 10.000 tons cube sugar, 140.000 tons liquid sugar, 2.000 tons chocolate and 2.160 tons hard candy per year, the factory is the only facility that can process beet by means of dry system and produce 2.000 tons sugar per day. Being the only sugar factory of Turkey featuring the most modern treatment facilities, Cumra Seker Integrated Facilities continues its growth with the factories and departments that it possesses.
