Grain Industry Association

The Grain Industry Association of SA (GIA SA) is a state-based industry body that represents organizations in the grain industry of South Australia, focusing on the post-farm gate sector. The association's objectives include facilitating an efficient, equitable, and competitive grain trading environment in the state. With a diverse range of members, including grain traders, exporters, storage providers, freight and transport companies, grower organizations, and other related businesses, GIA SA promotes the interests of its members in the grain supply chain. The organization is also affiliated with Grain Trade Australia (GTA), the national peak industry body, which was established to formalize commodity trading standards, develop trade rules, and standardize grain contracts across the Australian grain industry.
