The dollar was on track for a fourth straight weekly gain against the euro after US September jobs growth fell short of expectations and unemployment rose to 4.2%. The 10-year Treasury yield slipped to about 5.19%, while yields remain near multi-decade highs.
Rising crude prices also supported the dollar.
A firm dollar and high US yields generally pressure dollar-priced grains and oilseeds, while higher crude costs lift energy and freight costs for feed buyers.
