Soybeans, corn and meal and oil futures rose on short covering ahead of USDA crop numbers, which were expected to trim yield. CONAB raised Brazil's soybean crop estimate to 141.47 million tons and its corn estimate to 139.7 million tons.
A larger Brazilian crop adds export supply and offsets US yield cuts, which caps feed-grain and meal price gains.
