Congress has not passed the FY2017 Agriculture appropriations bill, so USDA and FDA operate under continuing resolutions through April 28, 2017. The House and Senate committee bills were reported but not enacted.
Continuing resolutions keep funding at prior levels, so near-term USDA program and data operations are largely unchanged. Price impact is minimal.
