Ukraine's sunflower harvest reached 10.2 million tonnes from 5.2 million ha by October 18, with yield at 1.95 t/ha, 11% below last year. Soybean yields are also lower, at 1.86 t/ha, 14.3% below last year.
Traders are raising soybean prices on reduced oilseed output.
Smaller Ukrainian oilseed crops reduce export availability and support regional meal and oil prices, though purchase prices for sunflower have been steady.
