U.S. wheat futures fell for a third straight day on October 27 as a firm dollar, lifted by stronger-than-expected U.S. GDP data, weighed on export prospects. December SRW settled down 4-1/2 cents at $4.27-1/4, and corn weakened with wheat while soybeans firmed slightly.
A stronger dollar makes U.S. wheat less competitive against Russian supplies in a global glut, which pressures U.S. wheat and corn prices and keeps export demand weak.
