The USDA NASS 2017 county yield data show Minnesota's record corn yield of 194 bushels per acre, above the prior record of 193 in 2016. The statewide soybean yield was 47 bushels per acre, below the 2016 record of 52.
Total corn production was just over 1.48 billion bushels.
These are backward-looking 2017 harvest figures already reflected in the market, so they have little bearing on current feed grain prices.
