The International Grains Council reported that wheat export prices weakened earlier in the season on large supplies, then firmed on poor US winter wheat weather. HRW Gulf export values rose $5 to $225 a tonne while SRW fell to $181.
Global wheat supplies remain well stocked, which limits price gains even as US weather concerns build. Currency shifts continue to affect export competitiveness among origins.
