The Andersons reported a first-quarter 2018 loss of $1.7 million, narrower than the $3.1 million loss a year earlier, with revenue down 25% to $636 million. Management said its Grain and Ethanol groups both improved year over year, and that it reached a $20 million cost-savings goal a year early.
