India's Commerce Ministry has finalised a proposed National Agriculture Export Policy and forwarded it to the Union Cabinet, which is expected to consider it this week. The draft aims to double farm exports to over USD 60 billion by 2022 through infrastructure, standardisation, and a more stable trade regime.
If approved, the policy could raise Indian farm export volumes over time, but it is a proposal with no immediate effect on global feed grain or meal supply.
