The South African Reserve Bank held its repo rate at 6.75% and said its model now shows only one more rate hike is needed before 2021, down from three in November. It lowered its 2019 inflation forecast to 4.8% from 5.5%, mainly because of lower oil prices and a less depreciated rand.
