Global wheat fell through February and early March then rallied in the third week of March, while maize stayed low as weak crude discouraged ethanol use.
Low crude reduces ethanol demand for maize and cuts DDGS output, keeping feed grain prices soft, while the weaker pound affects UK feed import costs.
