The National Biodiesel Board says biodiesel industry growth has added up to 11 cents per pound of value to soybean oil, equal to about 63 cents per bushel for soybean producers. The industry says this provides some certainty amid trade uncertainty.
Biodiesel-driven demand supports soybean oil values and the soybean crush margin, which helps underpin soybean prices for growers during trade tensions.
