A leading Black Sea grain exporter said Russia still has 4 to 5 million tonnes of last-harvest grain available for export, with traders expecting shipments into April and July. Black Sea 12.5% protein wheat for March delivery was quoted at $234 per ton, down $6 from the prior week.
CBoT wheat futures had fallen 7 percent so far this year.
Continued Russian exports of remaining old-crop wheat extend competition with US supplies and cap export price upside, which is bearish for wheat values.
