Indonesia's government will not levy export duties on crude palm oil and derivatives from March 1 to May 31, 2019, under PMK 23/2019. From June 1, duties apply only if the CPO reference price exceeds $570 per tonne.
Zero export levies lower Indonesian export costs and can support palm oil export flows, while the reference-price threshold sets the future cost of exporting.
