According to government data analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association, US ethanol exports rose 23% to 140.0 million gallons in March 2019. Brazil was the largest buyer at 65.7 million gallons, while exports to Canada also increased.
India's imports fell 30%.
Stronger export demand for US ethanol supports ethanol plant operating rates, which in turn sustains demand for corn and the DDGS co-product. Brazil's strong buying is supportive for the DDGS and corn complex.
