Rain across much of southern Australia improved winter crop prospects and pushed wheat and barley prices down $5-$10 per tonne in southern markets. Northern NSW grain traded flat to higher because of continuing dryness.
Barley in Adelaide traded at $320-$325/t, down from late May, and new-crop Port Adelaide wheat was near $300/t.
