EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler issued a proposed Renewable Fuel Standard rule setting 2020 renewable volume obligations and the 2021 biomass-based diesel volume. Conventional volumes stay at 15 billion gallons and advanced biofuel volumes rise to 5.04 billion gallons.
Conventional corn ethanol volume held flat and minimal advanced biofuel growth limit new demand for corn and soybean oil, keeping feedstock prices under little upward pressure.
