Pakistan's total DAP offtake in October 2019 was 271 thousand tonnes, down 48% from a year earlier, according to National Fertilizer Development Centre data. DAP prices rose about 0.5% over the period, and total availability for Rabi 2019-20 is projected at about 1,556 thousand tonnes.
Sharply weaker Pakistani demand and a comfortable supply outlook suggest limited import pull for DAP in the near term, which weighs on phosphate prices in the region.
