A US Meat Export Federation study by World Perspectives found beef and pork exports drove one in four bushels of added corn feed demand and one in eight tons of added soybean meal demand. Red meat exports also contributed over 12% of the per-bushel corn price and 9% of soybean price.
Growing meat export demand supports feed grain and meal consumption, reinforcing the livestock-to-grain demand link that underpins corn and soymeal prices.
