Argentine grain port inspectors represented by the URGARA union launched surprise strikes on Monday after wage talks stalled. The union says it will halt work as it sees fit and has exhausted dialogue.
A separate oilseed union is also threatening action over pandemic payments, which is under government mediation.
Argentina dominates world soymeal and soyoil exports, so repeated port stoppages raise the risk of shipment delays and support processed soy product prices.
