It calls on the EU to adopt a mix of measures to address deforestation while the industry improves its practices.
Steady EU demand supports palm oil prices, and possible EU deforestation measures could tighten supply of certified palm oil. Palm competes with soy and rapeseed oils in feed and biofuel uses.
