South Korea's largest feedmaker, Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI), issued an international tender to buy up to 60,000 tonnes of soymeal for arrival around September 25. Price offers were due March 31.
Shipment was sought from South America, China, the US Pacific Northwest or the US Gulf, depending on origin.
A tender of this size is a routine demand signal for soymeal and has little effect on the global price balance on its own.
