Malaysia kept its crude palm oil export duty at the maximum 8% for June but raised the monthly reference price to MYR 4,627.40/mt. The duty stays in force because prices remain above the MYR 3,450/mt threshold, and the net payable duty rises only slightly.
The small rise in net export duty is unlikely to change Malaysian export competitiveness against Indonesia, so the direct effect on palm prices is limited.
