The AHDB market report says the August USDA WASDE cut global wheat production by 15.5Mt, including Russia, Canada and the US, and cut US maize production by 10.5Mt. Chicago wheat and maize and Paris milling wheat futures rallied sharply in the week.
Lower global wheat and corn output and a falling stocks-to-use ratio support feed grain prices and keep barley competitive in feed markets.
