The US dollar climbed to its highest level in more than 10 months on Tuesday as Treasury yields surged. The 10-year yield hit a three-month peak near 1.54%, while the yen, euro and sterling weakened against the dollar.
A stronger dollar driven by rising yields makes US farm exports pricier abroad and tends to pressure grain and oilseed prices.
