Gro Intelligence reports that rising Russian food inflation has raised fears that Russia, the largest wheat exporter, could impose an export quota on its current crop. Such a quota would reduce wheat available to world buyers.
A possible Russian export quota would cut global wheat supply during a period of already high prices, which would push wheat prices higher for feed and bread users.
