Weekly USDA data show US crop progress as of November 7, with corn harvested at 84% and soybeans at 87%. Winter wheat planting was at 91% and export inspections for the week ending November 4 were 563,163 tonnes of corn and 0 tonnes of barley.
Crop condition ratings for winter wheat were little changed.
Harvest progress is near completion and export inspections are slowing, which points to a neutral to softer near-term outlook for US corn export demand.
