A four-day Argentine grain transporter strike, which had paralysed farm exports, was lifted after truckers agreed to a 20% freight tariff hike. Thousands of trucks had been parked on roadways, halting shipments of soymeal, soyoil, wheat, soybeans and corn.
Resumption of trucking clears the logjam, easing the near-term supply disruption that had supported soymeal and oil prices.
