India's oil meal exports rose 150% year on year in November to 407,193 tonnes, according to the Solvent Extractors Association. Soymeal exports reached 164,075 tonnes, up 282%, as the weaker rupee and lower domestic prices made Indian meal competitive.
Indian meal was quoted below Brazilian meal in Rotterdam.
Cheaper Indian soymeal adds competing supply in export markets, which pressures prices for Brazilian and US meal. Feed buyers may find more affordable meal options from India.
