Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's October Outlook for Principal Field Crops left 2023/24 canola and wheat ending stocks unchanged at 1.000 and 3.600 million tonnes. Canadian wheat exports were projected at 21.3 million tonnes, down from 25.666 million in 2022/23.

Unchanged balance sheets confirm the existing supply picture and offer little new price direction. Lower projected wheat exports indicate softer Canadian export demand than last year.
