Deloitte Switzerland's explainer describes EUDR requirements for in-scope commodities sold or exported into the EU. It states the obligations apply from 30 December 2025, or 30 June 2026 for small enterprises, which conflicts with the December 2024 date in other reports.
Confusion over the compliance date creates uncertainty for exporters, but the general requirement for deforestation-free, legal, documented supply remains unchanged for soy and palm oil.
