US soybean oil futures have traded in a 10-cent range since August but repeatedly rally near 40 cents per pound. Export demand has surged, with exports for the 2024-25 marketing year through April 3 about 976% above last year, led by India, Colombia and Mexico.
Anticipated federal biofuel guidance is also cited as a potential support.
