On June 27, 2025 the dollar was heading for its sixth straight monthly decline and traded at its lowest in about 3.5 years. Scotiabank said fundamental support for the dollar had eroded as rate markets priced greater Fed easing.

Expanding Fed easing bets and a weaker dollar tend to support dollar-denominated grain, oilseed and meal prices. A cheaper dollar can also support export demand for US feed ingredients.
