OPEC+ paused planned oil output increases beyond December amid fears of a supply glut, after a small December increase. The group has raised output targets by about 2.9 million bpd since April.
The pause slows the pace of supply growth, which can support crude prices against oversupply expectations. Crude moves feed through to energy and freight costs for feed producers.
