The US dollar gained against the dong on Vietnam's black market, rising 0.1% to about VND26,476, while Vietcombank held its rate at VND26,110. Globally the dollar index steadied at 97.09 after jumping 1% the prior Friday on Trump's pick of Kevin Warsh as Fed chair.
