USDA's May WASDE gave first 2026/27 estimates, with U.S. soybean and wheat ending stocks below trade expectations and corn stocks above. Global 2026/27 ending stocks for corn, soybeans and wheat were also below expectations, while Argentina and Brazil 2025/26 corn output was raised.
Lower global new-crop stocks support prices for feed grains and oilseeds, and higher South American corn adds some offsetting export supply.
