Oil futures have fallen back to pre-war levels as Middle East exports surge after Hormuz flows rebounded. August Brent traded near $73, its lowest since February 27, and the front of the curve moved into contango.
A near-term supply glut lowers energy and diesel costs and weakens the biofuel-linked demand case for vegetable oils. Analysts expect the market to tighten later as demand recovers.
