USDA data show US ethanol producers used 428 million bushels of corn for fuel ethanol in April, down 10% from March but slightly above April 2025. Distillers dried grains output fell to 348,065 tonnes from 479,000 tonnes in March.
Condensed distillers solubles and corn oil output showed mixed trends.
Lower corn grind reduces domestic corn demand and points to tighter DDGS supply in the near term. The shift in co-product output affects feed-ingredient availability for livestock buyers.
