Mexico's grain and oilseed imports in the first half of 2026 reached 23.9 million tonnes, up 6.3% year on year and the highest since 2015. Corn imports totaled 12.3 million tonnes, rising 8.6%, while white corn purchases fell.
Strong Mexican import demand, led by yellow corn and soybeans for livestock feed, supports US export demand and feed grain prices.
