Congestion at the Danube and Sulina Canal has extended Ukraine-to-Egypt grain delivery times to over a month from 12 days. Freight costs from Ukraine's Danube ports to Egypt rose to about $105 per tonne by September 11 from $30 in July, after Russian attacks blocked Black Sea ports.
