Indonesia's Finance Minister issued Regulation No.130/PMK.05/2022 on August 31, 2022, raising plantation fund tariffs on palm oil and derivative exports, effective November 1, 2022. The tariff increase applies to exports of palm oil products.
Higher export tariffs raise the cost of Indonesian palm oil exports, which can support international palm oil prices and reduce export competitiveness.
