Malaysian palm oil futures rose on hot weather in Malaysia, strong export data and firmer rival oils. The July contract closed up 25 ringgit at 3,969 ringgit per ton, and Indonesian exports are expected to recover in April.
Hot weather can reduce palm yields, and stronger soyoil and crude prices support biodiesel feedstock demand. Both factors lift palm oil prices.
