A weekly palm oil update reports EU palm oil imports fell to about 1.9 million tons from July 2024 to March 2025, due to the RED II phase-out. Indonesia's exports rose 62.2% in February while Malaysia's fell 16.3%, and Indian demand stayed weak on a price premium over soyoil.
Weaker EU biofuel-linked demand and subdued Indian imports pressure Malaysian palm oil prices, though rising Indonesian exports partly offset this.
