Indonesia announced higher export levies for August 2025 on refined palm oil mill effluent and refined used cooking oil. It also added new duties on these feedstocks.
Higher levies on waste-based feedstocks raise the cost of exporting them and shift supply toward domestic biodiesel, which can support prices of palm-based and other vegetable oils.
