RHB Research is reviewing its 2026 crude palm oil price assumption of RM4,250 per tonne after Indonesia decided to raise export levies on CPO and refined products from March 1. RHB will also adjust plantation earnings forecasts to reflect the new tax structure.
Higher export levies could change global palm oil supply-demand balances, and analyst revisions to price forecasts show the market is reassessing the outlook.
